From enterprise reinvention to self-driving supply chains.
The day opened with Ted Fuhr, Vice Chair at Accenture, presenting “The Augmented Enterprise: Holistic Supply Chain Reinvention.” His keynote explored how organizations can move beyond isolated digital initiatives and rethink how people, processes, data, and technology work together across the enterprise.
Ozgur Kilic, CFO at restor3d, followed with “Scaling Medical Device Innovation: Building the Digital Supply Chain of the Future.” Ozgur also presented outputs from Supply Chain Wizard’s Capacity Simulation model, demonstrating how scenario-based modeling can help organizations identify capacity constraints, assess alternatives, and support more informed planning decisions.
Reimagining pharma supply chains through AI
The panel “Reimagining Pharma Supply Chains Through AI & Digital Innovation” brought together Elena Polansky, Katja Lumbar, Jounal Shaikh, and moderator Kurt Nielsen. The discussion explored how pharma organizations are applying AI and digital capabilities across planning, operations, visibility, and decision-making.
A key takeaway was that successful AI transformation requires more than technology. Strong data foundations, clear business objectives, cross-functional ownership, governance, and user adoption remain essential.
The journey toward self-driving supply chains
Evren Ozkaya, Founder & CEO of SCW.AI, shared his keynote “Journey Towards Self-Driving Supply Chain: Evolution of the Pharma Industry and What Is Ahead.” The session explored how supply chains are evolving from digitization and analytics toward increasingly intelligent and autonomous operations.
Future supply chains will not only report what has happened, but increasingly identify risks, evaluate scenarios, recommend actions, and support faster real-time decisions.
AI’s fifth wave
Phil Eng, Principal Architect at Oracle, continued the conversation with “AI’s Fifth Wave – Building the Next Gen of Pharma Supply Chain & Manufacturing.” His keynote focused on how the next evolution of AI could create more connected, adaptive, and intelligent manufacturing and supply chain environments.
The session reinforced the importance of scalable digital architecture, trusted data, and enterprise-wide AI capabilities.
