Supply Chain Wizard is a management & technology consulting firm helping Pharmaceutical companies establish and execute cost-effective serialization programs, as well as serving broader manufacturing industries with their supply chain strategy & optimization programs.
Marcos Buelvas has 15+ years of experience working on complex, global supply chain programs that require the redefinition of global supply chains, global organizations, their processes and management systems.
He received his Masters of Engineering in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Marcos’s past experience with Deloitte Consulting focuses on designing and implementing Manufacturing and Supply Chain Transformation efforts and leading cross-functional manufacturing and supply chain programs. Marcos led operations transformation programs that delivered millions of dollars in top line growth, or equally, millions of dollars in cost reduction and fixed and working capital efficiency. He has held multiple leadership roles, including business development, MIT recruiting, training and talent development.
Prior to consulting, Marcos was a Senior Engineer with the Competitive Operations Group of General Motors leading projects on material flow, manufacturing throughput, cost reduction.

Marcos enjoys playing a key role in achieving these key objectives of global reach, and building supply chains and capabilities that fit unique objectives.
Personally, Marcos is married to Heidi and they have 3 daughters, Camila, Juliana and Monserrat. They enjoy living life outdoors and traveling around the country and abroad. Favorite settings are out in nature, having camped, hiked and canoed at primitive sites around the country and in Latin America primarily.
