Ali Ekici, Ph.D.

Ali Ekici is an Associate Professor in the Industrial Engineering Department at Ozyegin University. He received his MS (in Operations Research) and PhD (in Industrial and Systems Engineering) degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology and his BS degrees (in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics) from Middle East Technical University. His research interests are in healthcare applications, humanitarian logistics, disease spread modeling, vehicle routing and scheduling/packing applications. He has participated in several industry/government-financed projects, including blood supply chain management, inventory routing and scheduling applications.

Mustafa Akan, Ph.D.

Mustafa Akan is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. Professor Akan's research involves revenue management, the economics of health care management, and manufacturing and service operations management. He collaborated with Allegheny General Hospital and Pennsylvania Adoption Exchange (PAE). Prof. Akan's thesis received the Best Dissertation Award of the Aviation Applications Section of INFORMS in 2008. He is the co-recipient of the 2009 INFORMS Best Paper in Service Science and POMS 2012 Healthcare Best Paper awards.

Okan Örsan Özener, Ph.D.

Okan Örsan Özener is an Associate Professor in the Industrial Engineering Department, Ozyegin University. He received his MS (in Operations Research) and PhD (in Industrial and Systems Engineering) degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology and his BS (in Industrial Engineering) and MS (in Industrial Engineering) from the Middle East Technical University. His research interests are in integer/combinatorial optimization and non-cooperative/cooperative game theory and and their applications in supply chain management primarily on transportation, distribution, and logistics systems planning and control. He has participated in several industry/government-financed projects, including healthcare supply chain management, inventory planning and routing, airline scheduling, revenue management and city logistics
